How do I place an order on Modi Pearls?
For step-by-step shopping instructions, please follow the progression below:
- When you have found a Product on Modipearls.com that you would like to buy, please choose between the two buttons labelled as "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" where "Add to Cart" will help you to add more items to your virtual shopping cart and "Buy Now" will immediately proceed you to checkout page.
- To change what’s in your virtual shopping cart at any time, click on the cart icon at top right side of the website. You will land on a cart page where you can edit items in your virtual shopping cart. Remember to update your cart using "Update Cart" button after you have made your preferred changes.
- To remove a Product from your virtual shopping cart, click on the remove icon which appears on the product window while you hover on the cart icon. You can alternatively reduce the item quantity to zero on cart page and update cart to remove any item.
- To add more Products to your virtual shopping cart before checking out, click on the button labelled "continue shopping" or simply continue shopping by adding more products to the cart.
- To complete the order for the Products in your virtual shopping cart at any time, click the button labelled "Checkout" or "Proceed to Checkout".
Does Modi Pearls provide Open Delivery?
Please be informed that we DO NOT provide the service of "Open Delivery" because our courier partners do not provide this service to us. Our shipments are thoroughly packed and insured against all kinds of damages and thefts from the courier company, thus they don't open or allow anyone to open the package until its delivered. Kindly DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER with us IF you are looking for openly delivered shipments.
How is my order shipped and when will I receive it?
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the following week. Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days after order confirmation. Typically, packages take between 24-72 hours for delivery after dispatch. For International orders or orders not from India it can take up to 5-10 working days depending on the delivery address. Delivery dates are not guaranteed in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our control. These interruptions include, but are not limited to, delays caused by the transportation system or shipping carrier.
What are the shipping charges?
All orders within India are shipped for free without any minimum order value. International orders are charged approx 30$ per shipment. For orders above INR 20,000/- (or 265$), Modi Pearls will be bearing the shipping charges* (upto 1KG).
How do I track my orders?
After your order is shipped, you will be notified through an SMS and email which will also be containing your order tracking number. If you have further queries, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or our Official WhatsApp based on your convenience
What is order cancellation policy
You can only cancel the order before the products are shipped by us. The term 'shipping' indicates us handing over the order to the courier partner. However, once the product have been shipped by us, it cannot be cancelled without attracting "Return Fee", for details on return fee structure, kindly check the returns and refund policy. TCA.
What if there are missing or wrong items in a delivered order?
In a rare instance of missing or wrongly shipped items, please contact us at email@example.com (or WhatsApp) and quote your transaction reference number. Our customer service is open from Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 9 PM (IST). We will reply to your query within 1 working day and resolve your issues asap.
How to use a promotion/coupon code??
To use a promotional coupon code, please follow these steps:
- Add items to your shopping cart
- Proceed to Checkout.
- Click "Have a Coupon?" button and enter your Coupon Code at the box indicating "Enter Code". Simply type or copy and paste the code in this text field and click "Apply"
How to confirm if a order is placed?
You will receive an email and SMS acknowledgement containing the order reference number and details of your purchase.
Do I receive an invoice for my order?
You will receive an invoice copy with your delivered order.
How can I pay for my order?
Cash-on-Delivery is the default and only option enabled on the website, however if you want to convert this order to prepaid, you can contact us and we will help you to do it.

What is the Return Policy?
We at Modi Pearls understand that online shopping of jewellery can sometimes be worrisome and hence we have designed our return policy to ensure peace of mind of our customers. 48-Hour Return Window: Upon receiving the product delivery, you will be entitled to a 48-hour return window where if you want to return the product, you must contact us or drop a message via Phone or Email or WhatsApp. The return will be approved if request is dropped within return-window timeline. Return Pickup: Once your return request is registered our team will confirm if you want us to initiate a return pickup from your address or if you want to self-return the product. If we initiate a return pickup it will be picked up from your address within two working days and delivered to us within two weeks. Note: This decision will affect your refund amount. Self-Returning of Product: If you plan to self-return the product, our team will share the store-address with you to help you to prepare for a return. You can share the tracking id or shipment details after you have dispatched the product. Replacement: If you want to change your product with another product, our team will assist you in choosing another product and the new product will be dispatched immediately post-return and inspection of the previous product. Refund: If you want to request a refund, a refund will be issued within three working days after we receive the product back to our store, during this time the product will undergo an inspection and once the inspection is approved the refund is initiated through an IMPS/UPI payment to help you to receive your money faster, we will try to initiate refunds asap from our end and in most cases the refunds are given almost immediately. (The inspection is a background process and your assistance will be requested only if our team determines a problem with the product returned to us, in such cases, your cooperation will be requested until we investigate the problem Eg: Missing Items In Return, Changed Items, etc) Refund Amount: The return shipment charges will be deducted from your overall amount in case of a return, if you self-return the product with your own resources then you will be entitled to receive 100% of the refund, provided that the product is returned to us as-is in the same condition with all of the items shipped with the order. If a problem is encountered with the returned product, then your cooperation will be requested to handle the anomaly, since all our shipments to and fro are completely insured, there is nothing to worry if the items were handed-over properly by you to our return-pickup associate, however if you plan to self-return the product then you will be responsible for the product's safety until it reaches back to us. The exceptions and other issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis by our team. Exclusions: Please note that in some cases the return policy will not be applicable. The exclusions are listed and explained below: i) Customised Orders: If a customer has a requested customised order, which means an item which is not ordered from the website but communicated separately and specifically made as per the customer's request and directions, then this return policy will not be applicable to such orders. ii) Orders from Store: The return policy is designed to resolve the rare possibility of arising conflict of a customer's expectation to the product's website-view versus the real-life view. Items bought offline from the Modi Pearls Store are bought by consent with live-preview of the product, so the ideology behind this policy does not apply to the store-based purchases. Although the website and stores fall under the same ownership, the administration of website and store are distinct and managed separately. The products available on the store are distinct and in most cases not available on the website since the store and website's inventory are also separately managed. For the given reasons, this return policy is not applicable to purchases made other than the website (modipearls.com). August 2020 Update: Effective since 5th August 2020, all returns are subject to a "Return Fee" ranging from Rs.300 to Rs.1500 on orders valued upto Rs.30,000. For orders above Rs.30,000 a charge may increase and our customer support will confirm the charges to your personally over Email, Call or WhatsApp. This policy update decision has been taken after carefully considering several factors and the new world order set by COVID-19. Please contact if you need any further clarification on return policy, we request every visitor to understand our policies completely before placing an order with us.
Sending 'Real' Picture of The Product!
We have been recently facing some unusual requests from the customers out of which the most popular one is to send the real picture of the product. While we completely understand that buying online jewellery from a website can be skeptical and concerning, we cannot adhere to such requests because the products that we upload are carefully clicked and described to the maximum accuracy of its real look. Modi Pearls is the first online pearl dealer in India to introduce pearl quality categories and pearl size accuracy upto millimetre. We reasonably expect our customers to understand the same and be confident while shopping with us. We also make exceptions, case-by-case basis, where the team carefully considers every customer's concern and if the team determines the concern as genuine then extra-measures such as sending more photos/videos of the article depending on the customer's request or requirement is done.
